  • 12 months can be credited in the specialist training programs of the field

Specialist training takes place under the guidance of our experienced radiologists and with the ultra-modern equipment of our institute. All common modalities and examination techniques are covered during training: CT, X-ray, MRI, sonography/ultrasound as well as various interventional and minimally invasive radiological procedures, biopsies, drainage and percutaneous therapies. In addition, special procedures are offered at our institute, such as bone density measurement (DEXA) or the use of high-energy focused ultrasound waves (HIFU).

In addition to the medical content and knowledge of diagnostic procedures, we also impart knowledge and practical experience in the areas of equipment technology, the necessary basics of biophysics and radiation physics, radiation protection measures, examinations and interventions in emergency situations, the preparation of expert reports and patient communication.

A special feature of the training at our institute is the extent to which you can deal with each individual modality and each area of interest, as there are several clinical experts in each field to accompany and exchange ideas with, as well as research groups in which you can get involved and contribute to the further development of the field.

Activities during the training period must be recorded in a logbook. You can find sample logbooks for all three specialist training programs linked above.
