Sonography (ultrasound)

Ultrasound refers to sounds with frequencies above the spectrum that can be perceived by humans. These are reflected to varying degrees in different types of tissue and can therefore be used to visualize internal organs, for example. The Doppler effect can also be used to determine flow velocities.

The sound pressures and frequencies used in diagnostics are not harmful to the body. No X-rays are used. Ultrasound can also be carried out during pregnancy. Our institute works with 6 ultrasound machines of the latest generation.
