RSNA Update – MSK Radiology

The Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University Hospital of Cologne cordially invites you to its next continuing education course in radiological diagnostics , “RSNA Update – MSK Radiology,” on January 15 and 16, 2027, at the Maternushaus in Cologne.

Friday’s topics will be entirely dedicated to this year’s RSNA theme, “Radiology as the Hub of Modern Medicine.” The focus will be on the central role of radiology as the linchpin of modern medicine—from diagnosis through treatment planning to follow-up care. Key topics include multidisciplinary collaboration, AI-assisted imaging, and current developments in medical device technology. Updates on cardiovascular and breast imaging, among other topics, will also be presented and discussed. The day will conclude in the traditional manner with a brief summary of the highlights of RSNA 2026 and a get-together.

Saturday’s program is dedicated to musculoskeletal radiology. You can look forward to a diverse range of presentations that will showcase both the latest research findings and clinical applications. Our experts will discuss the latest innovations in musculoskeletal imaging and their significance for patient-centered care. Topics will include, in particular, advanced imaging techniques for the musculoskeletal system, new developments in joint imaging, and the role of AI in the diagnosis of bone, cartilage, and soft tissue pathologies. In addition, interventional techniques and their integration into multidisciplinary treatment approaches will be highlighted.
